Disney World--Day 2

So Disney World has this new magic bands thing which I think is awesome! I was skeptical at first but ended up loving it! So with magic bands you get your fast passes online before going to the park. You can switch them the day of on the app of online but you only get three. I was worried about that not being enough but it worked out great. The fast passes are on your bands, so when you go to your ride during the allotted time there is a little post that scans your band and you go on. Not only do the bands hold your fast passes but it is also your room key! Your hotel room door scans the band! How awesome is that? On top of all that you can hook your credit card to it so when buying food or souvenirs in the park they just scan your band! Disney is brilliant.

Morning of day 2 was spent at Animal Kingdom. First we headed over to Kilimanjaro Safaris. 

Instead of boring you with the 100 pictures I took of animals I will just post a couple of my favorites, like this adorable baby elephant.

And of course this handsome gorilla.

Then the "big kids" headed over to Mt. Everest, this ride is awesome!

Another magical day at Disney World!

Disney World--Day1

Nathan's dad had a conference in Orlando so the whole gang met there to go to Disney World! It was such a blast and so fun spending time with family. Our first day there we went to Magic Kingdom in the morning.

Then that night we went back to Magic Kingdom for some more rides!

It was such an awesome day, and this was only day 1!

Yosemite

On Friday night Nathan and I did the 2.5 hour drive to the cutest bed and breakfast just outside of Yosemite. We met our friends from San Jose, the Kindts, there and it was a blast. The couple that owned the house were the sweetest, and the house itself was gorgeous. We hung out with everyone that night and heard some crazy stories from Joe, the house owner, who was a helicopter pilot and Vietnam who has survived 5 different helicopter crashes, crazy! Breakfast the next morning was delicious!

Our drive into Yosemite was gorgeous! There was a big snow fall the day before so it looked like we had just entered Narnia. The weather that day had a 60% chance of rain/snow and we prayed for good weather, well there ended up being blue skies, prayers answered!

We made a turn and then all of a sudden we saw El Capitan and Half Dome, we ooh'd and ahhh'd.

It was such a fun little trip, we will be going back to Yosemite for sure!

Utah--Part 2

The wedding was Thursday so that left the whole weekend for us to hang out with family! The Gallbraiths are big board game players and I love it! It was fun staying up til the wee hours laughing and playing games with this crowd.

Nathans birthday was yesterday but we celebrated it while we were in Utah. We went to Toucanos for his birthday, mmmm. Here is Claire Bear sippin on her drink.

 Our last day in Utah we got to see Cam, Julie and their new baby Alexandra!

It was so fun seeing them, we love them so much!

It was a fun trip to Utah and we hate going back to reality!
