$0.60 Date

Oh my gosh. Yes. We went on the most amazing date for only sixty cents!! Amazing, I know. We went with our great friends Cindy and Wyatt, but I like to call them Windy. We planned on going to Noodles and Co. so Cindy called ahead to see if there are any deals right now. And they said if you bring a group and someone in the group has never been to Noodles then you ALL get a free meal!!! So we go a drink, a main dish and an appetizer all for free! It was so delicious!

Then we went to Macys and got sixty cent ice creams. Yum!

Then we came home and watched Lord of the Rings. Such a fun night!

We wish we were in Phoenix RIGHT NOW.

So Nathan and I are playing battleship on a Sunday night (and I am winning) when all of a sudden I get an overflow of picture text messages. And these text messages brought tears to my eyes... I will now share them with you:

Nathan's family went to Phoenix because they had a work conference down there so they ALL got to hang out. We love our family and miss them dearly. Only 32 more days till school's out!

Family Home Evening

I picked Nathan up from work last night and told him I had a surprise waiting for him at home. And this was his surprise:

Our two best friends Joslin and Kaitlin! And dinner was ready too! We ate pesto chicken pasta, caprese salad and garlic bread... mmmm soo good! Then Nathan gave a nice thought after dinner. It was a great night :)

NERDY

So recently my contacts have been making my eyes go crazy. They itch and turn red and sometimes gooey stuff comes out, I know, gross. So I've been wearing my glasses a lot more often. But the pair I had decided to break... :( So I was talking to my friend at work the other day and she said she got prescription glasses on a website for TEN DOLLARS!! I couldn't believe it! So I checked it out. The site looked legit so I said "why not?!". I think it's so hard to shop online because you can't try anything on, but where can you go wrong with ten dollar glasses?? So I bought a pair and I got them in today and I love them! And they are real life prescription! It's great! Nathan and I have a busy week ahead of us filled with projects and tests. Only 41 days till Disneyland!

Parentals

For Christmas my sisters and I got my parents tickets to the Donnie and Marie show with a gas card and a hotel in Vegas. They loved it! They came to Provo after the trip in Vegas and hung out with us. It was lots of fun and so great to see them :) We went to the basketball game, it was awesome. There was a flashmob of about 2,500 students that did a dance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyOw01IENqU.

We went to Carabas for dinner then to the Carl Bloch art exhibit at the Museum of Art. A very beautiful and spiritual experience.

It was so fun being with them and I already miss them lots :(
