Trip Home

A lot has happened since I last blogged! Well I worked my 50 hour work week for Valentines day and survived! And Nathan took me to Toucanos, soo good!

Thursday morning we woke up at 3 AM and drove to Phoenix. We loved being home and did not want to come back to cold, boring Utah. First thing we did was go to the Botanical Gardens. I hadn't been in years!

It was Trisans birthday while we were home and he had the funnest birthday party, pony included!!

It was also Nathans 24th birthday too! 

All Nathan wanted to do for his party was to play Just Dance on the Wii. Here are the four guys doing a dance, too funny.

And we made s'mores in the front yard.

A fun time was had by all and we sure do miss them!!

One Year of Blogging!

Happy one year to my little blog! I honestly thought I would not be able to keep this blog up to date, but look at me now! This was literally the third blog I had started... The other two started out strong and slowly dwindled into nothing. I am so glad I have this blog though. I don't write in a journal so this thing is absolutely perfect. And for the few of you that do read and comment, thanks :) Cheers to another year on the blog!

Life Lately

 I have been kinda MIA lately because I have been blogging about our big trip but now I can blog about my real, normal life! Nathan and I have been putting our sports pass to good use. Go Cougs!

I've been crafting lots lately too! I made these sweet shadow box frames, and plan on doing it for each country we visit! 

I also sewed my first project with my new sewing machine! It's a baby blanket for our new niece on the way!

We've been playing some fun games with friends.

It snowed! Once...

And we got to see Jimmer play professionally!

I know, I know, I am so ADD about my hair color.  I have been brown or blonde I swear at least 3 times in the last year. So on Saturday my friend Joslin asked me if I could take her to her hair appointment and I was happy to do so.  I went with zero intentions of getting my own hair done.  It was at a wonderful womans home in Sandy and her name is Stephanie Ewell (if you live in Utah, you HAVE to go to her.) So Joslin is getting her hair done and I fell so in love with it (and in love with Stephanie, she is so awesome!) that I wanted to get it done myself! My reasoning is that I can never decide between blonde and brown, so why not best of both worlds?? And I won't have to touch up my roots every month. I love it!!
