Thanksgiving

Nathan and I went to Northbrook for Thanksgiving and had the greatest time! I mean who doesn't love food and family?! And at Thanksgiving dinner there was gluten free bread, gluten free stuffing AND gluten free pie, I couldn't have been happier!

We went to the best Persian Buffet in town, literally stuffed ourselves again!

And we went to Medieval Times! Each section has a knight and your cheer your knight on as they joust and sword fight the other sections knights and our knight won! It was so fun!

And you had to eat your food with your hands, no utensils allowed!

It was so fun being with family for the holiday and we are looking forward to going to Phoenix for Christmas!

Last Day in New York City

On our last day in NYC we woke up early to wait in the line to see the Kelly show. We were standby and were worried we wouldn't make it into the show but we did! And we wore matching shirts... I am not quite sure why, but we did. We got lots of funny looks haha.

We saw Gavin Degraw perform, he was great!

After the show we went to Serendipity. Emily drinking some frozen hot chocolate.

I recently started the Harry Potter series for the first time in my life and I cannot stop reading!

Some delicious Sprinkles cupcakes.

G for Gluten....Free!

The 9/11 Memorial

Some New York greasy pizza.

And Newsies, which was SO amazing! I loved every second of it.

Feathers and Spoon Rings

This weekend Nathan and I went up to Midway with our friends Chelsea and Rob Starling. Chelsea's parent live in Midway so we got to stay at there house. It was so much fun! Of course we had to go to Dairy Keen, and they have gluten free hamburgers!

On Saturday we went to Swiss days. It was so fun, tons of food and cute craft booths. They even had a booth for feather extensions! I had to get some.

Chelsea and I got these awesome spoon rings for only ten dollars!
Please ignore my horrible nail polish!

The Starlings introduced us to this game called Ticket to Ride. And we have played every night for the last three nights. Seriously best game ever. Rob always wins but in the fourth picture you can see there was a tie between Nathan and Rob!!

A picture of our drive home through Provo Canyon.

I love weekends. Especially three day weekends :)

New Things

I was grocery shopping at Macys the other day and looking at all the gluten free goodies in the gluten free section. They had some new products by a new bakery I had never seen. There was a man next to me looking at the new products too. I asked him if he knew it was any good and he said, "Well yes it is! And I'm the one who baked it!" Turns out he's the owner of the new gluten free bakery! He was such a nice man. He was telling me about how 4 of his 7 kids have celiac... And that he was misdiagnosed for many years and celiac caused him to have brain tumors, MS, dementia and the list goes on and on. I am so blessed that my mom was smart enough to have me tested early in life!! Well I bought a loaf of the bread and it is ah-may-zing. Its soft like real bread and I can eat it like a sandwich without toasting it! It's great!! Too bad I am moving form Provo in three weeks :(

The yummy yummy bread

Nathan got a late birthday present from his best friend Harry. He basically started crying when he opened it. It has his high school number...

AND his last name!

I still need to blog about conference weekend and having Emily and Paul here! Just waiting on Emily to email me pictures!
